Perrin-Whitt CISD is having a Bond Election.
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, voters in Perrin-Whitt CISD will vote on the district’s $25,450,500 bond referendum.
Why is Perrin-Whitt CISD having a bond?
After a series of meetings, the facility planning committee members recommended that the board call a bond for the amount of $25,450,500. This recommendation was based on continued growth in enrollment of CTE courses, Perrin-Whitt CISD’s educational goals, and the committee's desire to be responsible fiscal stewards of taxpayer dollars.

The average age of facilities in Perrin-Whitt CISD is 43 years. The bond package includes renovations, maintenance, and repairs throughout the district.

The bond will include district-wide safety and security updates, including a security vestibule at the High School.

Student programs affected by the bond include Career and Technical Education (CTE), Ag, Athletics, and Fine Arts.

Renovations would include HVAC upgrades, bathroom renovations such as stall dividers, fixture upgrades, and new paint in classrooms and hallways.
